Possessed by what angel?

Satan is the one who is the one who tricked Eve. It was him, as himself. Not through some possession, but because he was in his spiritual body. He wasn't born, he was an adult body with full mass and reproductive abilities. He had full memory and knowledge. He knew Eve before she came here, because she was there. He knew her importance, and he knew her role. Eve had zero chance.

Everyone expects evil to do evil, but how much deeper does your heart sink when you recognize one you trusted from the good side is actually the leader of the other side? Satan was in the garden of Eden in Genesis, and here we learn he was there in the first earth age.

Ezekiel 28: 13

You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
sapphire, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold;C on the day you were created they were prepared.

We know it's the first earth age, because it addresses when Satan was created. All souls were all created in the first earth age. Also Satan was wearing a priests breastplate (the stones that adorned him).

Ruby is the tribe of Zebulon.
Topaz is the tribe of Issachar.
Emerald is the tribe of Reuben.
Onyx is the tribe of Asher.
Jasper is the tribe of Naphtali.
Sapphire is the tribe of Simeon.
Beryl is the tribe of Dan...

Satan had risen to a position within the church were he had access to the garden of Eden, which is basically God's garden (then, now, and the eternity). Since the geographical location of Eden is the same now as it was during the first earth age, and because geography doesn't change, it should be no big stretch to see why the middle east drama is as it is today.

Ezekiel 28: 14

You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.

He was so trustable that he became a guardian to the throne, and he walked with God in the most private and Holy of settings. God's holy mount and fiery stones are present, so this supports a first earth age time frame.

Ezekiel 28: 15

You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.

He was perfect when he was created. He was not created evil. It came from within him just as the opposite (love) must come from within. His pride started small but just as the cancer with time comes consummation.

Ezekiel 28: 16

Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, O guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.

His corruption overtook him, and he was more or less fired. But do you think this stopped Satan? Instead he rallied those who followed him. There are stories throughout the Bible that touch on what he did, from the overthrow all the way up to the drama in this present day.

The next verse jumps to Satan's status when he is cast here:

Ezekiel 28: 17

Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.

That hasn't happened yet. This homework will show you how close that future is to us today.

The price for Satan's choices are revealed in the next verse with the carrying out of God's sentence upon him:

Ezekiel 28: 18

By your many sins and dishonest trade
you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.

Revelation also describes how Satan will be consumed from within just as Ezekiel described. That detail puts the timeline at the end of the Lord's Day, because he has one role left at the end of the Millennium before he's gone forever.

Ezekiel 28: 19

All the nations who knew you
are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.' "

The documentation Ezekiel gave us covered from the first earth age, to the end of the second earth age, to the end of the Lord's Day. That's a triple testimony of who this character is. He won't possess unless you let him in. His minions will mess with you all day long if you're not within a hedge. Also, the closer to the truth the bigger the target. That's all fair. Just know that how you think and what you do is totally up to you. That is the purpose of life. Don't let someone else drive, and they won't.

When we came to earth as a baby the war over our soul didn't start, it continued.
